"Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace." (Ephesians 2:13-14 NKJV)

The beautiful words of John 14:27 remind us that the heart of God is the source of our peace: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Jesus offers us peace, not as the world gives, but as He alone can give. We, as believers, can choose to accept His peace or ignore it.
